Avangate Description
Avangate is an affiliate network for software and digital goods that has operated since 2006. It grew out of the Avangate ecommerce platform used by software publishers, which is now part of 2Checkout under Verifone, so many of its advertisers are antivirus, utility, productivity and other downloadable software brands. Affiliates join once and then apply to individual vendor programs, promote them with links and banners, and earn a percentage of each sale, often with long cookies and renewal commissions on subscriptions. The network reports earnings centrally and pays out once the minimum threshold of around $100 is reached, by wire transfer, PayPal or cheque. An API is available for larger publishers. Commission rates, cookie length and renewal terms are set by each vendor, so check the program page for current details before promoting.
