Hostelworld Description
Hostelworld is an Irish online travel company founded in 1999 that specialises in hostel bookings. Its site and app list tens of thousands of hostels and budget properties in nearly every country, with photos, ratings and detailed reviews from guests covering atmosphere, safety, cleanliness and location. Many bookings allow free cancellation or flexible changes. A social layer lets travellers see who else is staying at their hostel, join group chats for their property or city, and discover local events, which appeals to solo travellers looking to meet people. Hostelworld also publishes city guides and travel tips. For publishers, it fits backpacking blogs, solo travel content, gap year guides and budget itineraries. The official affiliate programme gives affiliates credit when a visitor completes a stay booked up to 30 days after clicking their link and pays in many currencies.
