WayAway was a travel search service launched in 2022 by the team behind Aviasales, one of the largest flight metasearch engines, with a company listed in Thailand. It helped travellers compare flights from hundreds of airlines and agencies, as well as hotels, and its WayAway Plus membership offered cashback on bookings made through partner sites. Like Aviasales, it did not sell tickets itself but sent users to airlines and agencies to complete purchases. At the time of review, the WayAway website redirected to Aviasales.com, which suggests the brand has been merged into Aviasales, so the listing's name and URL may need updating. Aviasales searches more than two thousand airlines and ticket offices for the cheapest options. For affiliates, the programme runs through Travelpayouts, the affiliate network owned by the same group, and suits travel blogs, budget travel and digital nomad content. Commission is a share of the revenue from bookings.
