Zeffy

Zeffy is a Canadian company founded in 2017 that offers free fundraising software for nonprofits in North America. Organisations collect donations through customisable forms, sell event tickets, run raffles, auctions and peer-to-peer campaigns, manage memberships and sell items in an online store, all without platform or transaction fees. Instead of charging nonprofits, Zeffy asks donors for an optional contribution at checkout. The platform also includes a donor CRM, email newsletters, printed thank-you letters, tax receipts and in-person payments using a smartphone. Zeffy reports that more than 100,000 nonprofits use it, from schools and animal rescues to community groups. For affiliates, Zeffy suits nonprofit resources, fundraising guides and content for volunteers and small charities. The programme pays a commission on the revenue Zeffy earns from referred organisations for 12 months.
